The Zoom in the zoo (animals) video was recorded with Nikon D3100 D-SLR camera in 720p / 29.97 fps + Nikon 70-300mm VR telephoto zoom lens. I've taken several HD videos in the Zoom, shooting various type of animals. I've taken some shots at 24p, but have decided to shoot in 30p for smoother videos. The "Zoom in the Zoo" video was shot hand-held (without a tripod) with VR2 in 'On' state. The footage was imported to Adobe Premiere. I've applied some 'Levels', 'Shadow & Highlights' and Unsharp. It seems that Nikon D3100 video clips need some extra attention to look in their best. I will still miss the 3.5mm input jack that now exists on the D5100 and doesn't exists in the D3100. I am sure that with an external mic, I could have gotten better sound quality. I will upload more Nikon D3100 video sample so don't forget to subscribe to my channel. Thanks.
