DiCAPac Waterproof Camera Bag Review

DiCAPac Waterproof Camera Bag Review Tube. Duration : 3.62 Mins.

t.co This is the waterproof bag I bought for my Canon VixiaHFS100 camcorder. I told myself I would only use it in the rain and would never take it underwater, but curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it out. I didn't go deep or stay in the water long, but it did seem to work well. It does have problems with fogging up, I've hear throwing in a few packets of silica helps with that. Also one major problem I've had with the camera inside the bag is the auto focus has a really hard time. It likes to focus on the lens of the waterproof bag. So plan on using manual focus when you use the bag. I did film the Vixia going into the bag, and explained how to best get the camera in there. I put my ContourHD on the tripod to film it, but as usual my POS helmet camera corrupted all the files so I'm missing that footage. This waterproof bag is pretty handy especially if you want to do some filming in a river or live somewhere with lots of rain, like me in Panama. I would be way to nervous to film for long periods of time underwater like a scuba diving trip or something, but definitely a must have for rainy days or splashy activities. I have the DiCAPac WP-D20 which will fit many types of camcorder with a similar size to the the Canon Vixia HFS100. But this company makes these plastic cases for just about every size of camera. DSLR's, iPhones everything: t.co and they are much cheaper than a hard case type underwater housing.

Introduction to camera flash with Mike Browne

Introduction to camera flash with Mike Browne Video Clips. Duration : 5.38 Mins.

An introduction about different types of flash and how light behaves. For example what id meant by 'hard' or 'soft' light? How do you find or create hard and soft light from your flash gun? I find it helps to visualise light as water and think about what would water do when squirted from a hose. If you put a sprinkler on the end it's a bit like adding a diffuser to your flash. The light shatters and becomes softer. But I reckon the bit you'll enjoy most is bounce flash. With the help of Lorna and a hose pipe we'll show you how light behaves when you bounce it off a wall or ceiling.

How to take a photograph of the moon using a Canon T2i DSLR camera

How to take a photograph of the moon using a Canon T2i DSLR camera Video Clips. Duration : 3.98 Mins.

In four minutes, I show you how to take a detailed photo of the moon. I use a Canon T2i but the principles will also apply to other Digital SLR cameras, providing you have manual controls. Here is the text: So it's the middle of the night and I feel like taking a picture, but what can I take a photo of? Ah, now there's a shining example of a photo that everyone wants to take... a picture of the moon. But probably not with this point-and-shoot. Let's use a proper camera. Here's my T2i, and I've fitted my 'kit' telephoto lens and set it on a tripod. Let's go and see what this can do. We'll choose auto (that's the green one) and take it outside and see what it's capable of. OK, we'll turn it on, line it up with the moon, zoom in, and get some definition in the focus area, focus, and... Oh. That didn't look very good, let's see what we got. Well, that was awful. It's true. As I make this in 2012, auto simply isn't going to work. Because most of the screen is black, it's going to boost the brightness of the moon until you can't see its features because it's blown out. Right, enough joking, now let's do it properly. The first thing is to set up a picture style with maximum sharpness. Menu button, two-spot camera page, right at the bottom. User defined 1, press the DISP button to set the detail, sharpness, all the way up to 7. Now we'll turn the dial to Manual. Select picture style, and choose user defined 1. Make sure your lens is set to have focus on Manual, and the Image ...

**Lenses used**: Nikon 85 mm f/1.4D and Tokina 11-16 mm f/2.8. **Music**: Created with Apple GarageBand "Magic GarageBand - Roots Rock" -feature **Color correction software**: Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse 3 LE **Camera settings used**: Nothing special, just normal capture in 1080 24p. All look / preset / color / slow motion and letterbox aspect ratio stuff done afterwards with computer using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, After Effects CS5 and SA Color Finesse 3 LE. For everyone who has asked me questions - I'm very sorry that I haven't been here for long time and I'm very sorry that I don't have time to answer for you all, though I would like to - I thank you very much for checking out this video and hopefully you have found answers to your questions! :) I added answers up here to the most common questions (which lens used, which music is in the background and what camera settings used (no special settings)). A common question has been, can you get this kind of video with kit lens (18-55 mm), the answer is mostly no. To get the "blurred" background, you need a large aperture prime lens (eg. 50 mm f/1.4 or 85 mm f/1.4 that I have used. Also 50 mm f/1.8 is a good and cheap choice). For other info about D3100, and comparisons with other cameras, please google more info - myself I had the opportunity to test this D3100 only for two days, so I don't know this camera's features very well, so I'm afraid that I don't know answers to all of your questions. Thanks for understanding ...

As we switched each lens the only thing that changed was the iso. Each lens was left wide open and we were around 3ft from the subject. All was shot on a 5D. It was also shot in 24P. GEBBS.TV

My previous lens was the Canon 70-200mm f/4 and this lens is huge compared to that, it also weighs quite a lot. However build quality is good and it feels like a quality lens. The camera in the video is a 40d, filmed on a 7d.. didnt bother with the settings just whacked it on record and compressed it for faster upload but it gets the job done! Enjoy

Digital Photography Help - Buying Tips

Digital Photography Help - Buying Tips Video Clips. Duration : 7.87 Mins.

It is always a tough decision when you set out to purchase your first digital SLR. Should you go with Nikon, Canon or another brand? Should you spend a lot of money on a body and go with the kit lens? What lenses should I buy, mega zoom or fixed focal length? These are all questions I try to answer on this recent Skype Call with a reader. He is trying to decide should he spend money on the D3100 or the D3000. If he spends the money on the D3100 he will not leave himself with any room to purchase good glass and will be stuck with the kit lens. If he goes with the D300 he will have enough money to pick up a nice starter lens and save a few hundred dollars towards his next purchase. I feel that a lot of photography when you are starting out is learning the theory and methods behind capturing great images. The equipment will play a roll as you grow but just starting out you want to get a basic knowledge of composition, exposure and editing and grow from there. Once you have the basics down than you can decide which direction to go next and when to upgrade. Just remember glass glass glass before spending money on a body and being left with no good glass.

Canon T50 SLR Film Camera

Canon T50 SLR Film Camera Video Clips. Duration : 6.05 Mins.

Video segment from Episode 29 of the FILM PHOTOGRAPHY PODCAST. filmphotographypodcast.com "The Canon T50, introduced in March 1983 and discontinued in December 1989, was the first in Canon's new T series of 35mm single-lens reflex cameras compatible with Canon's FD lens mount." The manual focus Canon T50 is most likely the simplest camera in the FD arsenal. Program - Off - Battery Check are the only top controls. No "B" bulb, no PC flash input, no cable-release input. Turning the FD lens from "A" Automatic to f-stops switches the camera to 1/60th sec. This gives you the (limited choice) option of going manual and allowing the use of off-brand flashes. The T50 is simplistic joy - allowing me to concentrate on my shots and leaving the exposure chores to the camera. As an all-manual photo guy - I must admit, it was difficult giving up the control of shutter and aperture, but the results were more than pleasing.

How to Clean Your DSLR Camera's Sensor Tube. Duration : 14.62 Mins.

www.takeabetterphoto.com If your pictures have revealed fine black blurry dots, then you could have a problem with dust on your camera sensor. Cleaning your camera sensor can seem quite daunting, after all it is the most expensive part of the camera and susceptible to damage. As a professional photographer I often find myself shooting in a variety of environments including harsh weather or dusty deserts and all the time i'm changing lenses and having to work quickly, so quite often carefully looking after my camera is not top of my priority list. Getting the shot is! Inevitably my camera sensors eventually pick up some dust, so in this video I show you my methods for cleaning my cameras sensors to restore them as good as new I hope you find this information useful Karl. www.takeabetterphoto.com

REVIEW: Panasonic Lumix GF1

REVIEW: Panasonic Lumix GF1 Tube. Duration : 9.72 Mins.

www.digitalhomethoughts.com Want to buy one? http [Affiliate] This is my review video of the Panasonic LUMIX GF1, easily the most unique camera I've ever had the opportunity to look at. It's similar to a DSLR in that you can change lenses, but the micro four-thirds system doesn't use a pentaprism or mirror, so it's not a DSLR. Panasonic calls it a DILC: Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera. I don't see "DILC" taking off as a term, but this camera is hot stuff...it's been selling out everywhere, and Panasonic is struggling to keep up with demand. It uses SD cards and supports SDHC. The GF1 has a 12.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor (17.3 x 13.0mm in size), capturing JPEG or raw images at a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels. It's also capable of 720p video capture (1280 x 720) in either AVCHD Lite or MJPEG formats. It can shoot in burst mode, up to three frames per second. Like the video? Please rate, comment, and subscribe. Thanks!
